I can't recommend this series enough to anyone who's ever lived and has a sense of humor, especially if you're from the Gulf Coast. Check out Caverns and Creatures 1-4 and all the side quest short stories. Unless you're lame, then buy and read all of the series twice and hope some of the awesome rubs off on you and you de-lame yourself. Yes, Caverns and Creatures is a cure for being some sort of lame unfunny person. Reading this series will allow you to reroll your crappy level 3 office drone character into something better (or a bard.) After reading and becoming awesome, don't forget to build a shine to the holy texts.And remember, charisma isn't a dump stat anymore, just ask Cooper.
(Plus, the author is pretty cool and will drink a toast to me for giving him a review. Hurrah for giving a writer an excuse to drink.)

I laughed out loud multiple times during this story. Another winner. I continue to recommend this series to any fan of dungeons and dragons
I laughed out loud...causing my wife to ask "what are you reading?" I looked at her and said "unwashed asses!"

The Unwashed Asses (Caverns and Creatures short) by Robert Bevan is a hoot! How these guys get into so much trouble, it is too much, LOL! Remember to read book one of Caverns and Creatures book one first.
These stories are never a let down! This follows the same vein as the previous ones in a continuing saga of our favorite misplaced adventurers and the journey to stay alive long enough to hopefully make it back home! It's dirty, full of dick jokes, and totally inappropriate! Therefore it is perfect!
I laughed my ass off while reading this, as i usually do when reading Bevan. His talent in writing about orcs violating amphibious mer-things is unparalleled, and ill probably never have to write that sentence again. If youre a gamer and appreciate Hemingway-esque dick jokes, then spend your money on Bevan. As ive said before, it's glorious literary crack. Take a puff and get hooked.
On the books, not on crack. Thats probably bad for you.
Another great installment of the Creatures and Caverns short story series. A Cooper-heavy, as well as poop-heavy tale, although as Bevan fans can attest, those go hand in poop-covered hand. I laughed so hard I think I freaked out my neighbors. If you like this series, you're in for a treat for one of more disgusting and hilarious entries.
Great running joke of Cooper's grasp of vocabulary will keep you laughing out loud.
Robert Bevan has managed to do it again. At this point, I really should know better, but I was having dinner while reading this. I have mentioned before that our society tends to overuse the word "lol" and misuse it by using it in the figurative rather than a literal sense.
I can say that this story did indeed make me laugh out loud in a literal (that's literal literal, not the figurative literal) way, and there are horrified diners and a kernel of corn that passed through my right nostril that can attest to it.
Also, RIP Gilbert.
